Heavy-Duty Surface Cleaning and Strengthening Equipment for Castings and Forgings
This equipment is a dedicated surface cleaning and strengthening machine for heavy castings and forgings. It is designed for leading global manufacturers in automotive, construction machinery, rail transit, aerospace, marine, and related industries. It is suitable for batch rust removal, oxide scale removal, sand removal, and fatigue strengthening of medium and large cast steel parts, cast iron parts, forgings, and heat-treated parts. The core load-bearing tumble belt is integrally cast from ZGMn13 high-manganese wear-resistant alloy steel, offering excellent impact resistance and durability against heavy sharp-edged workpieces. Its load capacity is far higher than conventional rubber-belt machines.
The machine stably achieves the internationally recognized Sa2.5 cleanliness standard, with controllable surface roughness of Rz25-50 um and strong batch consistency. It can reliably match pretreatment processes before coating, heat treatment, and precision machining. The whole machine is designed according to ISO and CE international safety and environmental standards, supporting 24-hour continuous three-shift mass production in large overseas factories and meeting the strict production-line integration requirements of multinational groups.
The complete machine consists of six modular units: wear-resistant enclosed cleaning chamber, metal tumble belt carrying system, multiple high-power blast wheels, three-stage shot circulation and recovery system, pulse cartridge dust collection system, and automated hydraulic loading/unloading mechanism. The modular structure supports overseas disassembly, sea freight, and on-site maintenance.
The cleaning chamber is welded from thickened wear-resistant steel plate and lined with high-chromium alloy protective liners. Standard shot-leakage holes are opened on the belt plates to balance workpiece tumbling and abrasive recovery. Workpieces are automatically loaded by a hydraulic tipping bucket. A geared motor drives the belt so that workpieces tumble in three dimensions without dead angles. Multi-angle blast wheels project abrasive at high speed to fully cover inner and outer surfaces of the workpieces.
Abrasive passes through the belt leakage holes into the bottom screw conveyor, is lifted by the bucket elevator into the air-wash separator for shot-dust separation, and then clean shot is reused. Dust is collected in a sealed system by the pulse dust collector, and tail gas is discharged after meeting standards. After cleaning, the equipment tilts for automatic unloading and outputs workpieces through a matching vibrating screen. The whole process forms an automated closed loop with reduced manual intervention.
The ZGMn13 high-manganese steel belt is integrally cast, with excellent tensile and impact resistance. It withstands long-term operation with heavy, burred, and sharp-edged workpieces without tearing. Compared with rubber belts, the replacement cycle is increased by more than five times. Wear parts use standardized design and globally compatible spare parts, greatly reducing factory downtime and maintenance cost.
Three-dimensional workpiece tumbling combined with multi-angle blast wheel layout eliminates blind spots in complex cavities, edges, and corners. Surface roughness deviation within a single batch can be controlled within <=5 um, meeting unified quality inspection standards for multinational enterprises and reducing batch rework losses.
The three-stage recovery system of screw conveyor + bucket elevator + gravity air separation achieves shot recovery rate >=98% and abrasive loss below 2%. Composite separation thoroughly removes oxide scale and dust, preventing waste residue from scratching workpieces. Long-term mass-production consumable cost is significantly better than ordinary industry machines.
The fully sealed body and end-face mechanical locking seals are matched with high-power pulse dust collection. Dust emission is <=20 mg/m3, meeting environmental regulations in the EU, North America, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Machine noise is <=85 dB. Safety interlocks, emergency stops, and explosion-proof protection are equipped. ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 system certifications support smooth customs clearance.
Cleaning volume, blast wheel power, and loading method can be custom-engineered as required. The machine supports MES connection, remote monitoring, automatic size recognition, and automatic metered loading modules, enabling smooth integration into digital smart factories of Fortune 500 companies and supporting flexible production changeover for multiple workpiece types.
For procurement selection by multinational enterprises, the following basic information should be provided. We will issue a complete process solution and TCO lifecycle cost calculation report:

Production line plan, including whether the machine will be linked to an automated line and whether remote intelligent monitoring is required.
This series has been delivered in batches to leading global heavy industry, automotive, and rail transit enterprises, and has been verified as stable and reliable in long-term continuous mass production. Its metal belt adapts to heavy-duty conditions far better than rubber-belt solutions and avoids tearing-related downtime. The low-loss shot system saves customers a large amount of abrasive procurement cost every year. Automated loading and unloading reduce single-shift operators to 1-2 people, while cleaning efficiency is more than 40% higher than manual rust removal. After processing, workpiece surface quality is stable and can directly match high-end coating, carburizing heat treatment, and other precision processes, ensuring batch product consistency for multinational enterprises.
We own a wear-resistant casting processing workshop and produce core components such as belts and blast wheels in-house. A 72-hour full-load factory trial run helps eliminate outsourced quality variation. Compared with imported European and American equipment, procurement cost is reduced by 35% for equivalent performance, with lower lifecycle operation and maintenance cost.
We provide free pre-sales workpiece trial blasting and process simulation calculation, export-specific packaging and sea-freight reinforcement solutions, 24-hour overseas remote technical response, on-site installation and commissioning by engineers when required, full staff operation and maintenance training, and lifetime technical upgrade support.
The machine uses unified standardized design, with consistent parameters for the same model worldwide. This helps enterprises maintain unified spare-part inventory and maintenance standards across factories in multiple countries. Multi-voltage and multi-frequency customization is supported for industrial power systems worldwide.
Environmental and safety indicators exceed mandatory local standards in many countries, reducing the risk of environmental penalties and safety-related production shutdowns. Low-energy motors and low-consumable design align with global carbon-neutrality, cost-reduction, and efficiency strategies of Fortune 500 enterprises.
With a production base capable of annual output at the thousand-unit level, we can steadily undertake annual batch framework orders from large overseas groups, synchronously deliver equipment for multiple production lines, and protect overseas factory expansion and new plant launch schedules from delay.
