Product Overview

The rubber tumble belt shot blasting machine is designed for small and medium-sized precision castings, forgings, heat-treated parts, and machined components that can withstand tumbling contact. A highly wear-resistant rubber belt forms a recessed chamber to carry the workpieces, while its elastic cushioning effectively prevents impact marks and collision damage. The machine can achieve a cleaning grade of Sa 2.0-2.5 and surface roughness of Rz 25-60 um. Its modular design supports flexible configuration and production-line integration, making it widely applicable in automotive parts, aerospace hardware, precision bearings, hydraulic components, and other high-end manufacturing fields.

Working Principle and Process Flow

Workpieces are loaded into the rubber belt chamber through an automatic loading hopper. The reducer drives the belt to continuously tumble the workpieces. The blast wheel is arranged at the top, projecting high-speed shot to form a high-density abrasive stream for all-round impact cleaning. Shot falls through the holes in the belt plates and is recycled through the screw conveyor, bucket elevator, and shot-sand separator. Dust is filtered by the pulse cartridge dust collection system before compliant discharge. After cleaning, the belt reverses and unloads the workpieces onto a vibrating conveyor. The whole process is enclosed and automated, enabling unmanned continuous operation.

Product Advantages

Protection for precision parts: The elastic rubber belt absorbs shock and is suitable for thick-walled parts, aluminum alloy parts, and high-value precision components.

Efficient automation: Automatic loading hopper plus vibrating discharge system supports unmanned batch production with controllable cycle time.

Low operating cost: Shot recovery rate is >=98%, and the rubber belt service life is typically 1-2 years.

Environmental compliance: The fully enclosed cleaning chamber uses multi-layer sealing; dust emission is <=30 mg/m3 and noise is controlled at <=85 dB(A).

Compact and flexible layout: The compact structure is easy to install and can be used as a standalone machine or integrated into existing line upgrades and lean layouts.

International Certifications and Compliance Standards

Quality management system: ISO 9001:2015 certification with full quality traceability.

Mechanical safety: CE certification in compliance with EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC; risk assessment based on EN ISO 12100.

Electrical safety: Complies with IEC 60204-1 electrical safety standards for machinery. Control cabinet protection grade is IP54. Siemens S7 series or Mitsubishi FX series PLCs are optional.

Environmental compliance: Dust emission design can meet EPA and OSHA requirements and can be adapted to local environmental regulations.

Documentation delivery: English/local-language operation manual, maintenance manual, electrical schematic, spare-parts list, material certificates, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) report, and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) report are available.
