High-Efficiency Pulse-Jet Dust Collection for Industrial Ultra-Low Emissions
The pulse bag dust collector is a dry, high-efficiency pulse-jet cleaning system designed for shot blasting, metallurgy, cement, chemical processing, and other industrial dust-control applications. It is widely used with shot blasting machines, grinding machines, crushers, and similar production lines.
The equipment uses compressed-air pulse jetting and offline dust cleaning. Dust-laden gas passes through staged settling and filter-bag interception before clean air is discharged, while collected dust drops automatically into the hopper for centralized removal. Its modular structure supports full working-condition customization, keeps emissions stably below 10 mg/m3, and can be configured for environmental regulations in the EU, North America, Southeast Asia, and other export markets.
The system can support dust-control projects for shot blasting and machining lines operated by global manufacturers, including Fortune Global 500 production environments. International certification options such as ISO and CE, together with adaptations for overseas power grids, air sources, and explosion-proof conditions, are available according to project requirements.
Dust-laden flue gas enters the hopper through the air inlet. Large particles settle by inertia and gravity, while fine dust rises with the airflow into the middle housing. As the airflow passes through the filter bags, dust is retained on the outer surface of the bags, and clean air passes through the bags before being discharged from the outlet of the upper housing.
As dust accumulates on the bags, operating resistance gradually rises. A built-in differential pressure sensor monitors pressure drop in real time and automatically starts the pulse cleaning program when the preset threshold is reached. Compressed air at 0.4-0.6 MPa is injected instantly into the filter bags through the blow pipe and venturi. The impact causes the bags to expand and vibrate rapidly, so the dust cake falls into the hopper and is continuously discharged by the rotary airlock without stopping production.
Standard process flow: dust-laden gas inlet -> coarse dust settling in hopper -> fine filtration through middle-box filter bags -> clean exhaust discharge -> automatic pulse jet cleaning -> continuous hopper ash discharge.
Ultra-high filtration efficiency and multi-market compliance: Capture efficiency for 0.3 um fine dust can reach >=99.9%, with routine emissions below 10 mg/m3. Optional PTFE membrane filter media can support ultra-low emissions and help meet China GB 16297, U.S. EPA, and EU industrial exhaust limits, reducing environmental penalty and shutdown risk in export projects.
Low resistance and energy-saving operation: Stable operating resistance is typically 1200-1500 Pa, and can drop below 800 Pa after cleaning. Lower fan load and controlled compressed-air consumption reduce electricity, air-source, and maintenance costs over the equipment lifecycle.
Fully automatic continuous operation for 24-hour lines: Differential-pressure and time-based dual control enables unattended pulse cleaning. The system is suitable for continuous shot blasting and foundry lines operated by large manufacturing groups, with no production loss from shutdown cleaning.
Wide air-volume range and flexible working-condition adaptation: Single-unit air volume can be configured from 1000 to 500000 m3/h, with modular combinations available. Filter media options include polyester, aramid, fiberglass, and PTFE, with temperature ranges from 120 deg C to 260 deg C for high-temperature, high-humidity, or mildly corrosive flue gas.
Long service life and easy maintenance: Standard filter bags typically last 1-3 years, and pulse valve diaphragms are rated for at least one million cycles. Large side access doors allow one person to replace bags quickly, while the modular structure reduces maintenance labor time.
Compact structure with strong site compatibility: The integrated modular body has a small footprint. Indoor floor-mounted, silo-top, outdoor rainproof, and anti-corrosion configurations are available for overseas plants with limited space or outdoor installation requirements.
Broad dust adaptability and stable operation: The collector is not affected by dust specific resistance and can handle dry grinding dust, shot blasting scale, welding fume, cement dust, chemical powders, and other dust types without frequent bag blinding or short-circuit failures.
International safety customization options: ATEX explosion-proof design, 304/316 stainless-steel corrosion resistance, hopper heat tracing for anti-condensation, and outdoor insulation/rainproof upgrades are available for chemical, grain, metallurgy, and other high-risk dust conditions.
Complete international qualifications to reduce compliance risk: The product can be supplied with ISO 9001 quality, ISO 14001 environmental, and CE safety system certifications, as well as factory test reports, material certificates, explosion-proof certificates, and other English documentation for environmental assessment, customs clearance, and factory audits in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
Lifecycle cost reduction for large-enterprise cost control: The low-resistance energy-saving design and durable filter bags and pulse valves exceed many conventional industry configurations. Modular construction reduces on-site installation labor, batch spare-parts export improves price efficiency, and lifecycle O&M calculations help customers compare long-term energy and maintenance costs.
Global customization for diverse overseas conditions: Voltage conversion, English intelligent controls, ATEX explosion-proof design, 304 stainless-steel corrosion resistance, outdoor insulation, hopper heat tracing, and remote data monitoring can all be configured. Dedicated airflow buffering for shot blasting applications reduces abrasive dust scouring and supports large EPC overseas dust-collection projects.
Standardized export delivery system: The machine can be split for wooden-crate vacuum anti-rust packaging and loaded efficiently into 20GP/40GP containers. English installation, operation, maintenance manuals, electrical drawings, and spare-parts lists are supplied. FOB and CIF trade terms are supported with stable delivery cycles to reduce overseas line-delay risk.
Global technical and after-sales network: With more than ten years of overseas dust-collection project experience and service coverage across 30+ countries, we provide 24/7 multilingual online technical support, cooperative maintenance stations in key overseas regions, and rapid cross-border spare-parts shipment for stable 24-hour shot blasting line operation.
Suitable for standardized procurement by large groups: Unified modular specifications can be replicated across global branch plants. Group framework purchasing and annual batch-order negotiation are supported, with technical responses, site surveys, and project acceptance services available for EPC, procurement, and HSE teams.

Notes: 1. Parameters are based on standard models and can be fully customized according to overseas operating conditions and local environmental standards. 2. Standard filtration velocity is 0.8-1.2 m/min; for fine or sticky dust, it is recommended to reduce the velocity to 0.6-0.8 m/min. 3. Filter media, housing material, explosion-proof design, corrosion protection, and electrical controls can be modified for export projects. 4. The control system can be adapted to 220 V/380 V overseas voltages and can support an English operating interface and remote differential-pressure data upload.
Shot blasting, metallurgy, cement, power generation, chemical processing, mining, woodworking, machinery manufacturing, glass production, grain deep processing, and other mainstream manufacturing industries worldwide.
The system can process shot blasting scale, grinding dust, welding fume, boiler fly ash, cement raw meal, chemical powders, and food-grade particles. It is commonly supplied with shot blasting machines, grinding machines, crushers, sandblasting rooms, and polishing lines, and is a standard dust-control solution for heavy industry and automotive component factories.
The basic dust collection efficiency is 99.5%-99.9%, and routine emissions are stably below 10 mg/m3, meeting mainstream exhaust regulations in China, Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. For ultra-low-emission regions, membrane filter media can be upgraded, with third-party test reports and compliance documents supplied for overseas environmental assessment and factory audit requirements.
Filtration velocity is a core selection parameter. Dry, coarse shot blasting dust can use 1.0-1.2 m/min, while ultrafine or sticky dust such as welding fume and chemical powder should use 0.6-0.8 m/min. Excessive velocity accelerates filter-bag wear and increases operating resistance. We provide free working-condition calculations to match the optimal velocity and lower long-term maintenance cost.
Under standard conditions, filter bags generally last 1-3 years. Overtemperature gas, high humidity, acidic flue gas, and overly frequent pulse jetting can shorten service life. Export units use filter media based on imported substrates and can be shipped with a spare-bag list and batch spare parts to support uninterrupted overseas production.
Standard polyester filter media is suitable up to 120 deg C. Aramid can handle 200 deg C, and fiberglass can handle up to 260 deg C. For overtemperature flue gas, a front cold-air valve or water-cooling unit can be supplied. Cooling interfaces can be reserved at the factory for integrated delivery and reduced risk of filter-media heat damage.
Standard jetting pressure is 0.4-0.6 MPa, the jetting cycle is 60-120 s, and each pulse lasts 0.1-0.2 s. The electrical controls support an English panel and automatic differential-pressure adjustment. Parameters can be tuned remotely according to local air-source pressure and dust characteristics, without requiring specialist technicians on site.
A DMC-48 unit requires about 4-6 m2, with approximate dimensions of 1.5 m x 1.2 m x 4.5 m. A DMC-128 unit requires about 10-15 m2, with approximate dimensions of 3.5 m x 2.5 m x 6 m. The equipment can be split into modules for export and optimized for container loading. Maintenance and ash-discharge access are reserved, and English installation drawings and foundation drawings can be supplied.
Core wear parts include filter bags, pulse valves, venturis, discharge cylinders, and controllers. A 5%-10% spare filter-bag stock is recommended at delivery, and pulse valves are rated for at least one million cycles. We provide global cross-border spare-parts dispatch, English O&M manuals, and annual preventive maintenance plans.
For overseas inquiries, please provide required air volume, inlet dust concentration, dust type, flue gas temperature, humidity, corrosiveness, local emission limits, plant dimensions, and power supply voltage. We can provide an English selection proposal, 3D layout drawing, and cost estimate free of charge.
